The Korea Agribusiness Innovation Center (K-ABIC) was established in 2023 by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) as the national coordination hub for the SCADU Project across Uganda.
The Center promotes inclusive and sustainable economic growth among youth engaged in agribusiness by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, financing pathways, and support systems required to build innovative and resilient enterprises.
K-ABIC operates under the joint supervision of KOICA, representing the Republic of Korea, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), representing the Republic of Uganda. This collaborative governance framework reflects a strong bilateral commitment to agricultural transformation, youth empowerment, and socio-economic development.
